Dr. Schmitt works as an administrator at the University of Southern California, where she coaches and supports Bovard College’s expert faculty. 

Dr. Schmitt earned her doctorate in Curriculum and Instruction Studies from Arizona State University (2010-2015). 

Interdisciplinary specialties led her to teach at Arizona State University’s Mary Lou Fulton Teachers College, the School of Art, and University College. As a full-time Lecturer in the Academic Success Programs, she led research and supported curriculum development that focused on Mindset Theory.
